In short
- Past papers and topic lists are free for everyone.
- Premium is a subscription you can cancel at any time; it stops at the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Be kind and honest: don’t share your account, misuse the site or copy our questions to sell.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [Your company or trading name], [Your postal address], which runs Examonaut. By using the site you agree to them. If you are under 18, please read them with a parent or carer. Contact us at hello@examonaut.co.uk.
2. Accounts
- You need a free account for classes and to save work, and a subscription or school licence for Premium.
- Keep your password private and don’t share your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- If you are under 13, ask a parent or carer before creating an account, or use the account your school asks you to make.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
3. Premium subscriptions
- Payments are taken by Stripe. Subscriptions must be bought by an adult (18 or over).
- Student Premium starts with a 7-day free trial (once per account). If you don’t cancel during the trial, the first payment is taken when it ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month, term (3 months) or year until you cancel. Cancel any time with “Manage subscription” on your account page; you keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Cancellation rights: [Review: under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital service, unless you agree to start straight away and acknowledge you lose that right. Decide how you handle this, and your refund policy.]
- We may change prices; we’ll tell you at least [30] days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
4. Teacher plans and school licences
- The Teacher / tutor plan includes up to 5 active classes and 150 students.
- School licences are yearly, invoiced, and cover the specifications and dates agreed with the school. Access ends on the licence end date.
- Teachers must only invite their own students, and must not use the site to collect more information about students than it needs.
- When a plan or licence ends, teachers keep read-only access to their classes and results, but can’t set new work.
5. Using the site fairly
Please don’t:
- try to get into accounts, classes or areas that aren’t yours, or test the site’s security without our permission;
- copy, scrape or resell our questions, notes or generated papers (personal revision and classroom use are fine);
- upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you don’t have the right to share;
- use the site to bully, harass or contact other students.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Our content
- The questions in our question bank, our topic notes and generated papers are our original work, © [Your company or trading name].
- Past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports are © Pearson Education Ltd. We reproduce them unchanged for free revision use. See Copyright and takedown.
- We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Pearson or any exam board. Our practice papers are not official exam papers.
7. Availability and our responsibility to you
- We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that can’t be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
- [Review: any further limitation of liability for business customers such as schools.]

We may update these terms; we’ll tell you about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings there). [Review]
